Three simple steps will link patients to the evidence-based tobacco treatment programs in Arkansas:

Step 1: ASK every patient, every visit: “Do you use tobacco?”

Step 2: ADVISE – strongly urge all tobacco users to quit: “As your healthcare provider, it is my job to tell you that quitting tobacco is one of the most important things you can do for your health.”

Step 3: REFER to SOSWorks – providers complete the Tobacco Treatment Referral Form and fax to SOSWorks. Call SOS Quitline directly @ 1-866-669-7848
